Mobile technology and solutions transforming patient care in the community.

Anticoagulation thumb prick

We are acutely aware of increasing technology adoption in the Community. In the light of the current pressures in the NHS and bed shortages in hospitals, patients are discharged as quickly as feasibly can and sent back home to recuperate after treatment or operations.

Community nurses, healthcare assistants, health visitors and carers require innovative solutions enabling them seamless, yet secure access to real-time information at the point-of-care. Dakota is able to recommend mobile computing, printing technology and secure remote connectivity via N3 to reduce the administrative tasks, help deliver a paper-light NHS, whilst improving efficiencies and patient care.

As well as domiciliary staff we also work with organisations who provide valuable services to the NHS such as Pharmacists, care homes and hospices.

The 2 case studies below reflect our partnership with INRstar (by SCSLhealth) in the deployment of a mobile computing solution to transform the management of anticoagulation treatments by domiciliary staff and Pharmacists

We are in regular contact with various software providers of solutions to mobilise Community and Domiciliary Staff so if you have requirements which you would like to discuss with us, we would love to hear from you.
